Second edition of the boboli Suma Awards. Learn all about the four winning projects.

At boboli, we believe that success is the sum total of little actions. For the second year running, we gave out the boboli Suma Awards, recognizing organizations that work hard every day so that children can have the resources to develop into great human beings.

The prizes from this second edition were awarded last Monday, November 20, coinciding with Universal Children’s Day. On this occasion, four €10,000 prizes were awarded to organizations that promote children’s wellbeing and the coverage of basic childhood needs. The event was held at the Can Felipa Civic Center in Barcelona and brought together representatives from the winning foundations and their families.

This year, the four winners are organizations from different places in Spain with aims that are very different, but brimming with solidarity.

Asociación Síndrome de Rett. This organization from Barcelona works to provide multisensory stimulation for girls with Rett syndrome in special education schools. Their motto is clear: “Provide care today, and a cure tomorrow.”

Asociación San José. With its project called “AlfabeTICando”, this association from Guadix, in Granada, is looking to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their families with an inspiring life project, based on full inclusion.

OAfrica. This organization from Barcelona, which develops programs and projects to help children and families in Ghana, West Africa, received an award for its services in support of children with disabilities.

Asido Cartagena. From Cartagena, Murcia, this organization ensures educational inclusion for children with Down syndrome and works to improve their quality of life and that of their families.
