But if you know how to keep a secret, we will tell you the truth: <strong>Rock and Roll could have been born anywhere, at any time<\/strong>. No matter how many times it has come to life before, its music will always sound as fresh and thrilling as if it had been born yesterday!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Did you know that <strong>Buddy Holly<\/strong>\u2019s song \u201cCrying, Waiting, Hoping\u201d was covered by <strong>The Beatles<\/strong> in the 60s, <strong>Keith Richard<\/strong> in 1983 and <strong>Cat Power<\/strong> in 2007? The magic of music is that its melodies and lyrics speak to us through the years. Good songs are written in a universal language. Patti Smith was inspired by the poet <strong>Rimbaud<\/strong> for the cover of her album <em>Horses<\/em> (1975) and <strong>David Bowie<\/strong> wore a lady\u2019s dress for <em>The Man Who Sold the World<\/em> (1970). <strong>Carl Perkins<\/strong> dedicated his song \u201cBlue Suede Shoes\u201d to his love for fashion, and then <strong>Elvis Presley<\/strong> covered it.
