Candleholders are a must<\/em> at Christmas time. They adorn any place and spread warmth and tranquillity. <\/strong>We love them\u2026 our home is always full of Christmassy candleholders to give it that festive air. So, in today\u2019s craft we will make them from recycled materials to ensure our home is well lit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a very entertaining and decorative handicraft.<\/strong><\/strong> Besides, it will be useful not only during Christmas but will come in handy the rest of the year to light up a room or beautify our favourite corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do we need to make one? <\/strong>In fact, you will need very few things\u2026 And it\u2019s a lot easier because we\u2019ll be recycling. Do you remember the glass jar that had olives in it, or that sauce that you loved or that amazing marmalade? Well, once you have enjoyed the contents, it\u2019s time to put the container to good use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you still don\u2019t know what those jars can do for you,<\/strong> you\u2019re in the right place. Like the old adage: whoever has a jar has a treasure. That\u2019s it, right? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Glass jar<\/li>
  • Vegetal paper<\/li>
  • Pencil<\/li>
  • Scissors<\/li>
  • String<\/li>
  • Little branches<\/li>
  • Small round candles<\/li>
  • Glue<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Immerse the jars in warm water with some dishwashing liquid,<\/strong> wait for approximately 10 minutes and then peel off the labels.<\/li>
    • We draw what we like best on the vegetal paper.<\/strong> We\u2019ve made stars to decorate the candleholder. Use a pencil to outline their silhouettes and then cut them out.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Now, stick the silhouettes on to the glass jar.<\/strong> You can stick them whichever way you please. Above all, they must look good!<\/li>
      • Next, we tie the string around the upper part <\/strong>of the jar and add some decorative branches.<\/li>
      • When that\u2019s finished, the last thing is to place a small round candle<\/strong> inside it and light it. And you\u2019re done!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
